Wishing a very happy birthday to Ed Adamic the “Artist of Prospect Heights”!

Adamic is a native to Canon City and is well-known for his various media landscape and subject paintings drawn from the world around him. His works are found in various venues throughout Colorado, the U.S., Europe, and Japan.

Fremont Center for the Arts has two pieces of Adamic’s artwork in our Permanent Collection.

“Santa Fe Depot”, pastel landscape, created in 2000 donated by the Hawthorne family in honor of Harrison Hawthorne.

“Waltzing Winter Light”, pastel landscape created in 1998, purchased from the artist during the 52nd annual Blossom Festival Art Exhibit at Fremont Center for the Arts.
